Welcome to Norse VPN. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Norse VPN application and services ("Service") provided by Norse VPN ("we", "us", or "our"). By using our Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Norse VPN, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

Norse VPN provides a virtual private network (VPN) service that:

  • Encrypts your internet connection using military-grade encryption
  • Masks your IP address and location
  • Allows you to access the internet through servers in various countries
  • Protects your online privacy and security

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of our Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Subscription and Payment

4.1 Subscription Plans

Norse VPN offers various subscription plans with different billing cycles. Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice.

4.2 Payment Processing

All payments are processed through the Apple App Store. By subscribing, you agree to Apple's terms of service for in-app purchases and subscriptions.

4.3 Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage your subscription through your Apple ID settings.

4.4 Refunds

Refunds are handled according to Apple's refund policy. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers. Contact our support team for assistance.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to use Norse VPN to:

  • Engage in any illegal activities
  • Transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or networks
  • Harass, abuse, or harm others
  • Infringe upon intellectual property rights
  • Send spam or unsolicited communications
  • Engage in any activity that disrupts our Service
  • Circumvent any access controls or usage limits
  • Share your account with others (beyond the device limits)

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy.

6. Device Limits

Depending on your subscription plan, you may connect up to 5 devices simultaneously. Sharing accounts beyond these limits may result in account suspension.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property associated with Norse VPN are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express permission.

8. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

NORSE VPN IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
  • Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of any information

While we strive to provide reliable service, we cannot guarantee that our VPN will work in all locations or bypass all restrictions.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NORSE VPN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Any damages resulting from unauthorized access or use
  • Any issues arising from third-party services or websites

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Norse VPN, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of third parties

12. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time, with or without notice. We may also update features, pricing, or server locations. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe:

  • Violates these Terms
  • Is harmful to other users or third parties
  • Is illegal or promotes illegal activities

You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription through your Apple ID settings.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Norse VPN operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

15. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through:

  1. Good-faith negotiation between the parties
  2. Binding arbitration if negotiation fails

You agree to waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits against Norse VPN.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Norse VPN regarding the Service.
